For Oscar-winning animation studio Digital Domain, this new 115,000-square-foot facility enhances the creative efforts of the company’s talented staff as they transition into a new domain of feature-length film production. In the company’s new home, teams of artists and writers share open work spaces and offices. Writable and pinable walls are integrated throughout the space for story-boarding. Media support hubs and digital dailies theaters anchor the work environments. The lobby, designed to interface with the larger community, hosts events and exhibitions, while an outdoor theater provides a venue for the staff and public to gather together for movie previews and events.
